Phelony has asked if I have any suggestions for vegetable seasonings for my Gypsy Soup.

I use Mrs. Dash, which works very well, but you could use Vegex or a crushed bullion cube, or any vegetable seasoning you might have on hand, especially something with a lemon flavor.
